Was jetzt? - What´s coming now?

Es ist komisch oder auch nicht.
Ich habe soviel Energie in meine laufende Ausstellung gesteckt, gemalt, Bilder transportiert und aufgehängt, Preislisten geschrieben, die Vernissage vorbereitet und überstanden - und ich habe auf besonderen Wunsch zwei Bilder vom Verkauf zurück gezogen. Und nun falle ich - wie nach jeder Ausstellungseröffnung - in ein tiefes Loch.
Plötzlich läuft alles wieder normal, keine Überstunden sind nötig (Oops, seit wann habe ich geregelte Arbeitszeit?), ich kann meinen Tag wieder besser einteilen und habe auf einmal wieder Freizeit.

Nach der Ausstellung ist vor der Ausstellung habe ich mal gesagt. Stimmt. Allerdings ist in diesem Jahr nicht viel in der Richtung geplant. Ich werde einfach nicht lange genug hier sein, um das richtig zu machen. Also kann ich mich hier etwas bremsen.

Arbeiten werde ich natürlich schon. Das habe ich auch in den letzten Tagen gemacht.
Ein Bild (es ist sehr schön geworden) für die Verlosung zum Muttertag ist fertig, ich habe Entwürfe gemacht, bin wieder etwas mehr aktiv im Bereich Design.
Ich habe mein erstes kleines Filmchen gemacht (Ja, ja, ich weiß, es gibt bessere Filme, aber es ist noch kein Meister vom Himmel gefallen), in dem ich meine ausgestellten Bilder noch einmal vorstelle(http://www.youtube.com/atelierwohlwerth ) und habe versucht eine Vorlage für einen Elefanten zu finden.
Ja, das kommt davon, wenn man einem Freund eine Zusage für einen "Friedenselefanten" macht und noch nicht soviel Berührungspunkte mit diesen Tieren hatte.


Das Internet ist zwar sehr ergiebig, aber der Elefant, den ich wollte, habe ich nicht gefunden.
Zu meinem Glück gibt es hier einen wunderbaren Zoo mit prächtigen Dickhäutern und das Wetter war so gut, dass ich bewaffnet mit Stiften und Papier und ausgerüstet mit einem Fotoapparat im Zoo angerückt bin.
Ich denke, diese Elefanten wurden noch nie so ausgiebig portraitiert. Die Ausbeute von 6 Stunden waren eine dicke Mappe mit Skizzen und eine volle Speicherkarte im Fotoapparat.
Und das alles für ein einziges Bild von einem Elefanten - ein Bild, das für PR-Zwecke rausgeht und nicht von mir verkauft wird.
Aber jetzt weiß ich wenigstens, dass es gut wird.

Nein, faul bin ich trotz fehlender Ausstellungsplanung nicht.
Nachdem ich plane, auch wieder mehr im Bereich Textil- und Raumdesign aktiv zu werden und schon dabei bin, mir eine entsprechende Homepage zu erarbeiten, bin ich eigentlich sogar sehr beschäftigt.


Aber das ist ja das schöne an der Kunst.
Sie macht sehr viel Arbeit, aber es ist die schönste Arbeit der Welt und ich liebe sie.

Somehow it is strange and crtazy.
I powered alot for my current exibition, painted, carried paintings and hung them, prepared a vernissage and survived it and for a special wish of a special friend I recalled two paintings from sale.

And now - like it is always after an exibition - I have the feeling of falling into a deep dark whole.
Suddenly everything seems to be so normal, no long hours are neccessary (Oops, sounds like I had regular work hours.), my scheldue is easier to manage and suddenly I  have free time.

Once I said, after an exibition would be before an exibition. Right.
But here is not much planned this year. I will not be here long enough this year to prepare and to make exibitions. So I  stopped myself a bit.

Of course I will work. That I also did during the last few days.
A painting for the raffle for Mother´s Day (It became very nice!) was made, I made sketches and am a bit more active in design. I made my first little movie (Yes, I know most movies are much better) in which I showed the works I exibit right now ( have a look on http://www.youtube.com/atelierwohlwerth ) and tried to find a pattern for an elephant.
Yes, that´s the result of an agreement with a friend for a "peace-elephant" and of less points of contact with these animals.
I found much models in internet but the elephant I was looking for was not among all these models.
But I am a lucky girl and know the local zoo here with wonderful great elephants and I could enjoy the good and warm weather.
With pencils, much paper and a camera I was in the zoo here and worked.
I don´t think these animals were drawn so often within 6 hours but at the end of that time I had really much sketches and photos.
And all that for one single painting - a painting for public relation and not for sale.
But at least I know now the painting will become good - very good.

No, I am not lazy. Despite of the missing plans for much exibitions I have enough to do.
I plan to become again more active in textile design and interior design
 and I am busy working on a new website for my designs.


That is the wonderful in the art case.
There is always alot of work to do but it is the most wonderful job of the world and I´m loving it.
